IMPORTANT INFORMATION
-
What should I bring?Be sure to bring a hat and waterbottle. Wear long pants and closed in shoes (boots are preferable, but joggers or similar are also suitable). You don't need to have all the gear - we will provide the helmets and all horse equipment.
-
How do I get there? When your booking is confirmed, you will receive the farm's address.
-
Does it matter if I have no experience? Not at all! We're happy to take on brand new riders, but please make this expressly clear when booking so that we can match you with an appropriate horse.
-
What age can my child take lessons from?We offer 30 minute lessons for kids aged 2-6. Following this, we open up longer classes when the child is able to concentrate for an extended period of time.
-
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?A cancellation within 24 hours attracts a cancellation fee. Please reach out through the "Contact Us" page if you need to cancel your booking, or visit the "Terms and Conditions" page for more information.
-
How do I know the horses are safe? While all horses have the capacity to be scared and act on this fear, all of our horses are trained extensively and desensitised to (exposed to and taught not to be scared of) a variety of situations. Rider safety is our priority - we won't put you on a horse that we feel you won't be comfortable and secure on.
-
What about wildlife? We do have some beautiful Australian animals sharing our property with us, including two herds of kangaroos. We do also occasionally come across snakes, so please follow the directions of your instructor and be sure to wear closed in shoes (preferably boots that go past your ankle) at all times. Our guides are first aid trained.
